About this Site
This site has gone through a bit of an evolution over the years. In its earliest days, it was hand-coded in HTML. Later, I used a mix of HTML and PHP. And for the last few years, this site was built using the Jekyll static site generator. But as I got thinking about what I like to call the DIY web, I decided to simplify.
Now, this site has gone back to its roots and is written in HTML5 and CSS (the latter using MVP.css).
Why go old school? Partly to (re)gain a little more control over what I publish on the web. Partly to make updating and posting this website faster and easier. And partly to embrace my inner geek a bit more.
