Another look at speed writing

I’ve written about speed writing in this space before. It’s definitely a useful skill, and one that can help you not only meet a tight deadline but also make some money by writing a bunch of short articles quickly.

As Anne Wayman points out, professional writers often don’t have the luxury of being able to spend a lot of time making everything perfect. Anne also points out a few benefits to being able to write quickly — for example, breaking up writer’s block and getting a draft on screen.

Like any other skill, the key to speed writing is practice. Of course, having a few techniques (like these ones) in your arsenal helps. And whitepaper writing guru has a few tips for writing quickly, too.
