Tips for writing without distractions   Post2PDF

Over the last week or so, I’ve been having a difficult time writing. There has been a lot to do, both personally and professionally, in my life and the distractions have been few but they’ve taken their toll.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I like to shut off my laptop’s wireless interface, find a quiet corner somewhere, and start banging keys. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been working as well as it normally does.

Luckily, I ran across this very detailed blog post that explains how to write with the minimum of distractions. Some of the tricks that I use are in there; some are new to me; and others are ones I haven’t tried for a while. I’m definitely going to give a few of them a shot!
