Google Docs adds headers and footers
One of the things that I like about Google Docs is its simplicity. And the fact that Google gradually phases in enhancements. The latest of these is the ability to put headers and footers into a document.
What’s more, the headers and footers stay in documents when you export them to another format — like PDF or OpenOffice.org Writer (see the screenshots below if you don’t believe me).
The feature is basic, but it works. When you save a document to a word processor file, then you can add a bit of style to your headers and footers. I’ll be discussing this in more detail in the near future.
