Writing tips from Stephen King
I have to admit that I’m not a fan of Stephen King. But I have to tip my hat to the man for his success in the writing game. Some of his success undoubtedly has to have come about by following these seven tips for becoming a better writer.
Tips 1, 3, 5, and 7 are especially important:
- Get to the point
- Cut down your text
- Don’t care too much what others may think
- Write a lot
King’s thoughts in this area are very close to my own.
