Advice on becoming a writer 

When people ask me "how can I become a writer?" I usually tell them that they need to write, critique their writing, and write some more. And keep doing it. If someone can stick with that sort of regimen, then they're well on their way to becoming a writer.

This post at Wordpreneur.com takes my advice a few steps further. The posting offers seven excellent, concise bits of advice on becoming a writer. I especially like point seven: Have Fun. If you don't, then writing just becomes another chore.
