Jacuba Spell: a nifty online spelling checker

Although I'm a very good speller, I do make mistakes when I'm typing quickly. When I'm online and using a tool like Writeboard or PBWiki (neither of which have an integrated spell check), I find that catching my spelling errors to be a tad difficult. Jacuba Spell helps me get around that problem.

It's an online spelling checker that uses Javascript and HTML to check spelling as you type, in the same way that OpenOffice.org Writer and Microsoft Word do. You don't have to install any software on your computer -- you just put the link to Jacuba Spell on your browser toolbar (instructions here).

I've found Jacuba Spell to be invaluable when writing drafts using Writeboard. I'm sure that you can find a use for it, too.
