Writely, as you may recall, is a neat little online word processor. It's well-suited for collaborative writing tasks, and is a decent standalone word processor, too. Well, Google now owns Writely (more on this here and here). Makes me wonder if the rumours of a Google Web-based office suite are more than just rumours ...
