Improvements to Writeboard
Writeboard has only been available for a few days now, but the folks at 37 Signals have already added two really useful features to the service:
- Document locking. If you’re editing a particular Writeboard, locking doesn’t allow anyone to work on it until you’re finished. This is essential when collaborating on a project.
- HTML export. Yep, you can save your Writeboards as HTML documents. That’s in addition to the ability to export Writeboards as plain text files. But I’ve noticed that Writeboards, and the HTML exports, only support basic formatting like bold and italics. No tables, no blockquotes. I hope more formatting options are coming down the pipe.
