Blogs as writing practice
This short page outlines what a lot of writers or aspiring writers have realized: a blog can be a great place for posting drafts or snippets of your writing. Either for collaboration with others, for review, or just to get an idea out there.
Of course, blogs don't have to be online. You can maintain and view them on your computer -- sort of like a personal journal or writing notebook. But with a bit more style. I know a couple of people who use WYSIWYG HTML editors (like Nvu) to create writing blog templates and to craft entries. If you use Linux and want to do something like this, you might want to check out Bash Blogger.
