Plagiarism update
At least two of the sites that are carrying the plagiarized articles have agreed to remove them. I'm still trying to get hold of someone at the main culprit site.
What annoys me about this whole affair is that 1) my work was taken without my permission, 2) I wasn't compensated for its use, and 3) someone slapped their own byline on it. The perp probably thought he wouldn't get caught.
Contrary to what many people (including a few who should know better) seem to believe, if something is on the Web it's definitely not fair game. You need to get someone's permission to use their content. Permission I would have gladly granted if I had been approached.
