Converting PDFs to HTML in Linux
While there are those who think PDFs are a bad thing (here and here, too) there’s no denying that they’re everywhere on the Web. If you don’t want to view a PDF, then what are your choices? You can convert it to HTML.
This blog post touches on how, using a utility called pdftohtml. I’ve used pdftohtml in the past, and the output (while not spectacular) isn’t too bad.
